Westbury Theatre in the ATB Financial Arts Barns
A trip down memory lane sparks inspiration within the cast as they scout out Edmonton Musical Theatre's archives. Posters, programs, photos, and props discovered in the archives move the show along to pivotal moments in EMT's history related to instrumental events, artists and highlights that have shaped EMT. Forty years of accomplishments and challenges have brought the cast to this 40th Anniversary moment.
Special guest artists will grace our stage along with a 30 plus cast. EMT alumnus, Vance Avery, will be returning, fresh from Mayfield Dinner Theatre's production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, to revise the role of Marius which he performed in the first Canadian and U.S. touring productions of Les Miserables. Edmonton audiences will be touched by Vance's powerful, dramatic and controlled vocals in “Bring Him Home” - certain to leave you breathless. Davy Damo, another EMT alumnus, has entertained Edmonton audiences with his pop stylings and will be bringing his high-energy talents to our production. His upbeat Michael Jackson Medley will have you dancing in your seat.
An award winning artistic team - Director and Choreographer, Marie Nychka, and Music Director, Randy Mueller, are the tour guides for this memorable production.
Don't miss out on a delightful evening of classic Broadway hits from Gershwin, Cole Porter, Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and more!
Tickets are $25.00 for Adult and $20.00 for Youth (12 and under) and $20.00 for Seniors.
