This Land, Our Music... A Celebration of Canadian Music
2017 is also significant to Edmonton Musical Theatre as it celebrates its 40th anniversary season. This production allows us the opportunity to “give back” to the community that has supported the organization for so many years. We are proud to be a longstanding Canadian arts organization that has provided training and performance opportunities to thousands of aspiring young artists in Edmonton and surrounding area. These joint milestones offer an opportunity to reflect our pride in being a part of the vibrant Canadian arts community.
The Canadian musical highlights will be embraced by audiences of all ages. For the older demographic, it will stir memories; younger audience members will learn about our popular musical heritage that has inspired and paved the way for some of their current favorite pop artists. It promises to be an enjoyable (and educational) musical journey through our rich Canadian musical heritage that will inspire the next generation of Canadian artists to pursue their dreams.
