ADULT PROGRAM
Ages 17 years  and older
Tuition $600.00 full year
Thursdays 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. - Dance, Drama, Choral, Master Class
1st semester - September 5th to December 12th, 2019 - 15 weeks
2nd semester - January 9th to March 5th, 2020 - 9 weeks

Xmas Concert - December 13th, 2019 at Hall
Mini Show - March 13th, 2020 at Hall.

The season is divided into two distinct phases. From September to February, students attend classes where they concentrate on  all aspects of musical theatre performance.

Choral  Dance Drama Vocal Master Class

Additional special workshops may be offered with students receiving discounted fee. At the end of February, an open workshop is held for students to showcase performances for family and friends. As time permits, 3 to 5 mini-shows are held in the community.

The end of February, students are encouraged to audition for the major year-end production. The major show offers students the opportunity to work with a professional production staff and experience first hand the thrills and challenges of performing for a live audience. Preparation for the show is demanding and requires commitment by those involved, but it is definitely worth the effort.
TEEN PROGRAM
Ages 14 years  to 16
Tuition - $480 full year
Wednesdays - 6:00 to 9:00 p.m
1st semester - September 11th to December 11th, 2019 - 14 weeks
2nd semester - January 8th to March 4th, 2020 - 9 weeks
Saturday - March 7th, 2020 - performance day at Hall

Students are invited to join in this introduction to the excitement and passion of Musical Theatre for 14  to 16 years  who want to learn the basics.  This course will give you the skills and confidence to start you on the road to being a Triple Threat Musical Theatre performer! A great preparation for entry into Edmonton Musical Theatre's Adult Workshops.

Vocal class, -  students will work individually and chorally
Dance class - students work with professional choreographers to learn basic dance movement
Drama class -  students will explore character work and stage techniques
Opportunities to perform in a year-end Student Showcase and perform in the Major Show
TWEEN PROGRAM
Ages 12 to 13 years
Tuition - $480.00

RISING STARS PROGRAM
5 to 7 year olds
Saturdays - 10:30 to 12:00 p.m.
Tuition $350.00 full year
1st semester - September 28th to December 7th, 2019 - 10 weeks
No class Oct. 12th, 2019
2nd semester - January 11th to March 14th, 2020 - 10 weeks

This lively class is a great way for young children to first experience musical theatre.  Children will sing, dance and play their way through a range of age appropriate musical theatre and creative drama activities.  A "Show-off" performance is scheduled on the final class.

Edmonton Musical Theatre - Under the guidance of exceptional, professional musical theatre instructors, students of all ages receive training in acting, dance, movement, choral and solo vocal work.  Students further develop their performance skills by participating in open workshops, community service performances and have the opportunity to participate in a professional year-end production.
EMT provides adult students with a refreshing training alternative. Junior and Preschool classes are held Saturdays, while Tween, Teen and Adult classes are conveniently held in the evenings, allowing them the opportunity to train while attending school, working and/or raising a family.



All classes are held at our studio location: WOODCROFT COMMUNITY HALL, 13915 - 115 Avenue, near the Telus World of Science.  Plenty of free parking available!
