 This lively class is a great way for young children to first experience musical theatre. Children will sing, dance and play their way through a range of age-appropriate musical theatre and creative drama activities. A "Show-off" performance is scheduled for the final class. 

-       5 to 7 year olds

-       Saturdays – 10:30 to 12:00 p.m.

-       Tuition $370.00 full year or $200.00 per semester

-       1st semester - September 28 to December 7, 2024 – 10 weeks

-       No class Oct. 11, 2024

-       2nd semester – January 4 to March 8, 2025 – 10 weeks

 This class is perfect for any musical theatre enthusiast who would like to learn the basics. This course provides the skills and confidence to start you on the road to being a triple-threat musical theatre performer! The Teen Program is great preparation for entry into Edmonton Musical Theatre's Adult Workshops. We aim to develop vocal abilities, basic dance movement, and acting skills. The Program dives into solo voice and choir aspects, dance classes, character work and stage technique. Our teachers include professional choreographers, drama instructors, and vocal coaches! 

 There will be an opportunity to perform in a year-end Student Showcase. 

-       14 to 16 year olds

-       Wednesdays – 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

-       Tuition $500.00 full year

-       1st semester – September 6 to December 6, 2023 – 14 weeks

-       2nd semester – January 10 to March 6, 2024 – 9 weeks

-       Saturday – March 9, 2024 – performance day at Woodcroft Hall

The season is divided into two distinct phases. From September to February, students attend classes where they concentrate on all aspects of musical theatre performance. This includes: group choral singing, dance, drama, and individual vocal master classes. A Mini Show is held at the end of the program to showcase what they've learned, and students will be encouraged to audition for the yearly major show, produced by EMT. The major show offers students the opportunity to work with professional production staff and experience first hand the thrills and challenges of performing for a live audience.  

-       17 years and older

-       Thursdays 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. – Dance, Drama, Choral, Master Class

-       Tuition $620.00 full year

-       1st semester – September 7 to December 7, 2023 – 14 weeks

-       2nd semester - January 11 to March 7, 2024 – 9 weeks

-       Mini Show – March 8, 2024 at Woodcroft Hall

Welcome to the world of musical theatre! Here is your opportunity to spend a week singing, dancing, and acting, creating a show that you perform.   Your family and friends will be dazzled!

Activities include: • Singing choral numbers from your favorite shows • Learning dance routines by a professional choreographer • Drama lessons exploring improvisation and scene work • Creating props and set pieces • Showcase your talents on the Friday at 5:30 p.m

There is a Family Discount of $50.00 for second or more students from the same immediate family.

Child care is available at $8/hour from 9:00-10:00 a.m. & 4:00-5:00 p.m.
